Jose Luis is an artist and researcher of new media art, currently living in Valencia (SP).
His works focus on the digital world, including those related to codes and electronics
where he seeks a reflection on contemporary socio-cultural aspects.
He carries out his research and artistic practices focused on issues that are currently
recognized as key elements in the development of a modern society: the relationship of human beings with technology,
new forms of identity development, new surveillance technologies and new media as tools used by the power for censorship
and political repression. In recent years he has made contributions in the fields of video art, sound art, performance,
installation and interactive multimedia art based on algorithms, big data, artificial intelligence, subjectivity and surveillance.
